Dr. Richard Sun
Dr. Richard Sun is a distinguished and highly respected dentist, that has been serving
the dental needs of the DC metro area for over 20 years now. He received his
BS in Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and continued his
studies toward a dental doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental
School. While at dental school, Dr. Sun was selected to a periodontal externship
focusing on periodontal surgery.
Dr. Sun’s personal approach to dentistry, along with his detailed pursuit of excellence has established him as a health care provider that you can trust and depend on for the utmost quality of care. He has been recognized as one of the top dentists in the Washington DC Area designated by Washingtonian Magazine and America's "Top Dentist" by the Consumer's Research Council.
Dr. Sun stresses advanced education to pursue the latest techiniques and technologies in both general and cosmetic dentistry. His participation and passion allows him to provide the most comprehensive care, from simple fillings to implant placement.
Dr. Sun prides himself on really listening to every patient, and forming treatment plans to fit their needs. He views every patient, as a patient for life and values their commitment to proper care. Dr. Sun is fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin.
Dr. Sun’s life is highlighted by his beautiful wife and 3 lovely daughters.
He enjoys playing sports like basketball, golf and tennis. Is an avid traveler and cherishes every minute he gets to spend with his family.

Dr. Xiaoqi Chen
Dr. Xiaoqi Chen practiced dentistry for 7 years in WI and now she is a new addition to the northern Virginia area. She brings an energy and passion for Dentistry that has her patients excited and appreciative of her care. Dr. Chen received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in University of Maryland, School of Dentistry. While at dental school, Dr. Chen was selected to the Oral surgery externship and focusing on oral surgery procedures, such as: surgical extraction, bone graft and implant placement.
Dr. Chen aims to provide the most comfortable dental experience and transparent treatment planning. She offers a wide range of procedures. From all levels of restorative dentistry to treating myofacial pain with botulinum toxin. She is well trained and certified in laser surgery, invisalign and implant placement. She is also a member of American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) that correct face asymmetry and enhance patient's smile.
Dr. Tiffany Lun
Dr. Tiffany Lun grew up between Hong Kong and Northern Virginia. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she values building clear, comfortable communication with patients from all backgrounds.
She earned her undergraduate degree from George Mason University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College. Dr. Lun then completed a General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she provided comprehensive care for medically complex veterans and gained advanced training in prosthodontics, surgical, implant, and digital dentistry. This experience shaped her evidence-based, conservative approach to dentistry, focused on preserving natural tooth structure and supporting long-term oral health.
Dr. Lun has a special interest in TMJ disorders, airway health, and dental sleep medicine. As a Qualified Dentist with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), she works closely with patients whose sleep and quality of life are affected by breathing or jaw-related conditions. She finds this area of care especially rewarding because its impact extends well beyond the mouth.
Outside the office, Dr. Lun enjoys cooking, exploring the DMV dining scene, and spending time with her orange cat, Yuzu.
