As a provider, Dr. Kwan is dedicated to providing quality, patient-centered, comprehensive care. She believes in focusing on prevention and patient education in order to help patients help themselves in taking control of their oral health. Her compassionate attitude and calm demeanor allow even the most anxious patient feel at ease in the dental chair. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin and will happily explain the reasoning behind treatment in either language.
Dr. Kwan believes that to be a great dentist is to be a lifelong learner and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and Spear Education to continue pursuing new skills and keep up to date on the ever-evolving dental profession.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kwan is passionate about helping others and dedicates much of her free time to community service in various organizations. She also enjoys running outside with her puppy, going hiking and camping, cooking, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling as much as she can.
